Meet Our Instructors

Kung Fu University 功夫大學 has an outstanding team of dedicated instructors, all of whom are determined to help students succeed. Our team members offer support and guidance, uniquely tailored to each student. Both instructors trained under Shi Ye Martin Ware from 1996 - 2015. Mr. and Mrs. Harper have 40 years of experience between them and have competed on a local, regional, national, international and world level. Instructors you know.  Experience you can trust.

Arlanzo Harper

Owner & Shi Fu

Shi Fu Harper began studying Tien Shan Pai Kung Fu at the age of 13 and been training for over 21 years. He has won multiple 1st place awards in forms, weapons and full contact fighting (kickboxing, san shou and lei tai).


At the 2007 USKSF North Region tournament, he earned 1st place in his Lei Tai weight division and was awarded Male Lei Tai Competitor of the tournament. In 2009, Shi Fu Harper was selected as the recipient for the USKSF Male Lei Tai Fighter of the year for his 2008 fight performance. Additionally in 2009, he was a member of the U.S. National Team for the 2009 World Kuo Shu Championship Tournament (in Germany), where he placed 2nd in his weight division for Lei Tai.

Tiffany Harper

Shi Fu Harper began studying Tien Shan Pai Kung Fu 3 weeks before her 12th birthday and has been training for 19 years. She has won multiple 1st place awards in forms, weapons and full contact fighting (kickboxing, san shou and lei tai).


She was a member of the U.S. National Team for the 2006 World Kuo Shu Championship Tournament (in Singapore), where she placed 2nd in her weight division for Lei Tai. In 2009, Shi Fu Harper was nominated for the USKSF Female Lei Tai Fighter of the year for her 2008 fight performance. Additionally in 2015, she was a member of the U.S. National Team for the 2015 World Kuo Shu Championship Tournament (in Argentina), where she placed 4th in the weight division above hers for Lei Tai.
